All routes are along very quiet sandy roads or trails.

Please find below picture impressions of (only) two of the hikes.

Hike (round trip) to Sao Martinho das Amoreiras (6 hrs)

A varied hike through creek valleys and oak tree forests and over a ridge with stunning views of the white village of Sao Martinho das Amoreiras. On the way back you pass through an open hillary landscape.

Hike to the view point of the old Zambujeira wind mill (4 hrs)

This route follows a number of creek valleys, mounts gradually to the deserted ghost village of Zambujeira and then climbs the hill of the old wind mill. This is one of the highest points for many kilometers around (240 meter) and you can enjoy great views.
